American History X: plot summary

American History X is a movie about racist and Nazi people. Derek is kind of a leader for a group of nazies and in the beginning of the movie he kills two black people. He was sent to prison, he was nearly the only white guy there. His little brother Danny writes an essay about “mein kampf” and the school leader wants him to write another essay about Derek’s life. If he doesn’t write another one, he would be kicked out of high school. So he goes home and smokes some cigarettes and tries to write a new essay. In prison Derek become friends with a black man, but also gets a lot of enemies. He gets a job where he has to wash underwear with his new friend. But some other Nazi people wants to smash him, so in the shower 4 or 5 guys attacks him and one of them put his hand up Derek’s ass. So now he only talks to the black guy, they hang out and play some basketball. The day has come where Derek gets released from prison, Derek thanks his friend the black man. Danny and the rest of the family is there to say hello to Derek again. They get home and a fat guy called Seth come to see how it goes with Derek. But none of the family wants Seth to stay in their home, but he doesn’t care. That night there is a party for the Nazi people, and Derek is going too. He wants Danny to stay away, because Derek is going to have a serious talk with Cameron. Cameron is the leader of the Nazi and Racist group. So Derek goes to the party and all hail him, but he goes straight to Cameron, and there is Danny. Derek wants Danny to go out and wait for him. So when Danny has left the room, they start to talk very loud and it ends with Derek hitting and kicking Cameron. When Derek is on his way out of the house, Seth comes with a gun and aims at Derek. Derek uses some nice moves and gets the gun, and he aims at all the people so he can escape. After that Danny starts to push Derek, but Derek tell him to calm down and tells Danny how the prison changed him. At the end of the movie Danny gets shot in the toilet at his school. A black man and Derek hears the shot and they run into the school, and finds Danny dead.
