The number of talent shows have greatly increased in the latest years. It has become a TV-trend and it seems that every new show, even though there is only the slightest difference from all the other ones, attracts more viewers than any other TV-shows. People are addicted to these shows. Some because they love the thrill of watching a person with an amazing talent and some because they love watching people fail and getting mocked by the judges in front of a huge audience.

The talent show concept is quite brutal if you take it into consideration. Usually, one person steps onto the scene, in front of 3-5 judges and an audience of at least 300 people. The participants open up to a whole crowd of unknown people. Here they stand to be judged live by 300 people, 5 judges and up to 100 of thousands of TV-viewers. In some rare situations the participant is poor and unhealthy and they feel that the talent show is their last hope. This usually comes down to really emotional audition because these people perform their hearts out. It’s funny because it is usually these participants that have the most talent and move the crowd and the judges the most. Everybody in the audience have so much prejudice for their looks and their story, and the audience undermine their abilities, but when they start performing they melt the hearts of the viewers.
