Most of a student’s life revolves around school. Waking up every day, carrying on a bag full of books, and working towards good grades. This will in theory help them get into a good collage and a good job. Because of this, young student’s life is predetermined by the grades they get in school. But aren’t kids allowed to enjoy their life, instead of wondering about their future?

Most parents focus too much on making sure, that their children obtain good scores in school tests or major exams. Attaining high grades, is seen as the “passport” to high-paying jobs and future success.

The expectation, that parents have, will force the students to do their best all the time. This results in more stress towards doing it well, and more anger when we aren’t doing it good enough.

I personally mean, that grades are unfair. The teacher only estimate you, for what you show in the class and from your assignments, that you probably didn’t even was interested in. They don’t asses for all the other talents you have.

Our culture focus too much about our ranking in a class instead of what we’ve actually learned in it. We need to realize that our grades don’t determine who we are as people.
