Guns weigh a lot, which means not everyone can hold on to them, at least not with one hand. I tried holding one but while I was not in Denmark. Denmark has rules, and for a civilian to get a hold of a gun there has to be a legitimation. You can have one if you have a good reason such as hunting or having a permission for other reasons.
This is not always the case in the USA. In the states a civilian that is over 18 years old, is allowed to have a handgun and get a hold of a handgun ammunition.
The law provides no minimum age for the possession of long guns or long gun ammunition.
School shootings are happening a lot in the States of America. Some places less than others, but in some places, they happen a lot more.
According to Michael Moore there are really easy ways to get admission to weapons some of them are that inheritance and the weapons are a “normal” thing in the US. Which means that almost everyone has guns involved in their lives. Including children that grow up with shootings.
The guns in people’s homes are not locked up with good security. In the “Bowling of Columbine” movie there is this man that has been involved in something criminal years ago, and he shows that the way he is looking out for himself is by having a long gun loaded under his pillow.
