Being young is never easy. You have to deal with a lot of issues like education, friendships, love, sex, taking responsibility, alcohol, drugs, social media and so on. We live in a very competitive world today, where we have so many challenges to face. Back when you were a teenager you may have never even thought of the problems that teenagers face today.

Eating disorders

About 75 million people worldwide suffer from eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. Eating disorders are a problem that is more common with teenage girls,

but about 10-15 percent are men.Teenage girls fear that they will become fat,

and as a result they do not eat at all. Due to this, they suffer from anemia and anorexia. They become too thin and weak, and as a result they develop a lot of health-related complexities. This is a common problem that teenagers all across the world are facing. Teenage boys, on the other hand, have the habit of eating a lot of junk food. They do not have any discipline and either they skip a meal or overeat at times.

Social media

Social networking has become a necessity in the life of teenagers.

For some teenagers, life is all about the amount of likes you get. Posting selfies on facebook and instagram is a daily routine for many teenagers. Real “like-hunters” love getting attention, but once the attention turns negative, it can be hard to deal with. More than 90% of all teenagers have posted a selfie online, and in 2018, Instagram reached 360 million pictures with the hashtag #selfie. Selfies allow people to control their own image online, typically looking their very best. It is a quick way to get positive comments from your friends. Likes can boost your self-confidence.
