The movie is about Jamal Malik, an 18-year old slumdog, who lives in Mumbai, India. His is a Parental and has a brother named Salim. Jamal register in the Indian version of ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?'' – because he thinks that this is the only way to get in contact with his big love, Lakita. You see the movie in… flask backs. Every time Jamal get a question, he got a flashback to, when he was a kid. The flashback gives Jamal the answers to the question’s in ‘’who Wants to Be a Millionaire.’’ And that’s how he plays the game. In the Flashbacks you see Jamal live, from he was about 5 years old to he was 18. You see in the flashbacks how Jamal lives he’s hard live as a slumdog, how he escaped from Mumbai, how he mead Lakita, and from the start to the end Jamal is in love with Latika. When Jamal and he’s brother escaped from Mumbai they… left Lakita behind because she couldn’t run as fast as the boys who jumped on a running train. The boy’s jump off the train when they are in a big city. When they are there they got lots of money and other use full stuff, they steal is, and run. That’s how they do it. Jamal don’t goat all what’s he needed, because he still in love with Lakita. So Jamal desired to find Lakita. He tries to find her on the internet but there was too many ‘’Lakitas’’. He found out that Latika has found a man and lives with him. So Jamal desired to go to Lakita. But Lakita don’t want to go with Jamal. In Lakitas house Jamal see that Lakita loved the TV-show ‘’Who wants to be a millionaire’’. So when Jamal got kick out of the house, Jamal desired to go to the show and see if he can get in the TV, for win lakitas heard. When Jamal answered right to the 10.000.000 robins round, the police meant that Jamal cheated. They ask he many time about the ‘’cheat’’, but Jamal just sayed that he just know the answers from when he was a kid. When Jamal got the question to 20.000.000 robins, Jamal desired to call a person, Lakita. He called Lakita and they talk. But in the end Lakita couldn’t answer the question, she didn’t know it. But Jamal answers the question right and he win 200.000 robins. Finally I think they got lovers for the rest of their lives.
