A human body needs food and water, to keep going. So of course it is necessary to eat.
There is two ways to look at food, 1: eating to survive, 2: eaten for pleasure. Many people find comfort in eating and therefore they end up with too many kilos on their body and may have a very unhealthy lifestyle. Especially young people/teenagers are overweight because of junk food. They are affected by the media. There are commercials everywhere indicating that junk food is not bad and as if you can eat it whenever you feel like it, except that is not the case.
Starting from when you are just a little kid, you see places of junk food restaurants where ever you go, like McDonalds, Burger King, etc. And you see their commercials in TV and it makes you want to go there and eat. There are many families who go there and have their dinner, maybe because they don’t have the time or energy to make a healthy dinner at home, each day. But in the long run, that kind of food will hurt your body. Junk food have no nutrition and it tends to not make you full for real, as it a lot of the time includes white bread. White bread is not good for the body, as it contains a lot of sugar and no fiber, so it makes you feel full for a second and then you will feel hungry again quite fast.
