I think that racism is a growing problem in society because it is all around us, but most of us tend to ignore it. Some people ignore it simply because they don’t want to admit to themselves that something like racism could be happening in such a “perfect” world as ours, they turn their back on it and hope that it will just fade away. Others simply do not care that people are being discriminated because of religion, skin colour or other racial differences.

I don’t believe that people are born racists, when they are born they do not know right from wrong and therefore they do not hate. That is why I believe that racism and the hatred to other people is something you are taught, maybe by the environment you grew up in or the people who raised you. People are judged by the way they live, where they live, what type of clothes they wear and how much money they make. These things do not show a true picture of the actual person, we do not know a person just because we know where the person lives or what car the person drives. We judge people from their looks and from their way of living.
