Modernism is widely used to identify new and characteristic features. Modernism is a term of art for all forms of art and is used in subjects, forms, concepts, paintings, and styles of literature in the early decades of the 20th century, but was also widely used after World War I (1914-1918). Some literary historians believe that modernism began in 1890, but most historians believe that high modernism was after the First World War. It was after the First World War that change came. Postmodernism began in approx. The 1920th Postmodernism is a kind of extension of modernism. Postmodernism is circled around a showdown against modernism ideals. And the demolition of the traditional things and norms. It was after the war that people began to think positively, where, for example, some authors began to write about romance and feelings. There was just one change in the world, and people began to feel unsure of modernism, because life in a way began to be predictable.

Work of art of my own choice

I'm inspired by the painting because there was not burgers in the past. Here in the painting, there are two cheeseburgers, where it looks like the burgers we have now days, besides the painting looks burgers a little different. When you look at the painting and the year the painting is from is 1929, then you know that it is something with modernism to do. Because in the past had not burgers, and now in 1929 there are burgers. It is more postmodernism as burgers have come to modernism, because postmodernism began in approx. 1920 and here is the painting from 1929. The painting is trying to move art borders by, by the burgers are a bit exaggerated character of the painting. There are 2 huge burgers that are in the picture, but in reality burgers is not so great. But while the painting of burgers is from 1929, so looks like they actually still the burgers we have now days, so you could say there has been no great change from modernism to the present.
