Dystopia shows us how the future can look. And it is a futuristic, imagined universe. Dystopia is a classic fantasy tale about a perilous journey out to fight evil and bring the light back. It is a journey that not only tells a story in the novel's own framework, but also about the two parallels to our world. One off the purposes in dystopian societies is to draw attention to real-world issues regarding society, environment, politics, economics, religion, psychology, ethics, science, and/or technology . If these issues are left unaddressed they could potentially lead to a dystopia-like condition. The film Wall-E draws attention to what will happen in the future, it we don’t think about our consumerism, and continue to produce waste.

In Wall-E the people are no longer able to live on the Earth, because they didn’t think about their production of waste and the technology becomes stronger. So the people have to live on a spaceship. The technology in the future has made it possible so that people don’t make anything by themselves and they always have a robot to make everything for them.

One of the characteristics in dystopia is totalitarian government, because the people in the film never decide anything on they own. They are controlled by one of their own inventions.
