Slumdog Millionaire is a movie based on the Indian environment, it is a British drama movie from 2008. Released in 2009 in Denmark, and instructed by Daniel Boyle. Slumdog millionaire is about a young boy called Jamal Malik, which childhood has not been easy. Jamal loses his mom already in the beginning. He lives alone with his big brother Salim, they both live on the street. Later in the story Jamal meets another abounded girl called Latika, in whom he falls in love with.
Our main character is as told Jamal Malik, he is an Indian boy, who lives with his brother and his mom in the slum, until she gets killed. This is when Jamal’s whole life changes, and he must grow stronger and take care of himself. In the movie we see him developing, and he gets more and more independent, and also since the beginning of the movie he was really stubborn about finding Latika, when they lost her. Still Jamal is very polite and insecure, he has also got much sympathy for other people compared to his tough big brother. But there is one thing he will and do fight for, and that is Latika. Towards her he is also very protective he will even risk his own life to save hers, this also makes him very brave.
