The story is about a new married couple, Lata and Anuj. It takes place in Cardiff, Wales. Anuj had already lived in Wales for over six years, while Lata only in 4 months. Lata lived in India, her hometown, before she got married to Anuj. Lata misses her home in India. She misses her friends, family, the food and the indian culture. She speaks about it a lot to Anuj. Lata and Anuj decides to go the movies together. Anuj chooses a bollywood movie that is filmed in India and that makes Lata feel a bit better again because it makes her feel home just for the moment. After the movie ends, she comes out again and she realizes that her home isn’t in India but in Cardiff, with Anuj.
Lata is a Emotional person because she always get reminded of things she used to do in India. She gets a bit upset when she thinks about the “good times” she had in India with her friends and family.
Lata is a Indian woman, as mentioned above. She still is a traditional woman because she wears the blue silky sari, which is an Indian dress. Lata has a brother in the family, that is obsessed with the famous Jennifer lopez. Lata thinks that the way her brother looks at women is a bit disrespectful, because he likes half-naked pictures of women.
