Ever since Ellis Island opened in 1892, immigrants from across the world have immigrated to the United States to seek success in the “land of opportunity” The American society promised immigrants success in America, where no man wasn’t equal to each other. This quickly became known as the American Dream, and it was a promise to every citizen in America, that they would be able to find success in the United States. But it’s been many years since this promise was made to the immigrants. And there for many people are starting to be questioning if the American dream is still a thing Many people today are starting to believe that the American dream dying. The American dream is a national ideology which says anyone whom find themselves living in the United States of America, have the rights to democracy, rights, liberty, opportunity and equality.

Even though many people are doubting the American Dream, there’s still a lot of American citizens who strongly believes in the American dream today, and these individuals strive after success, equality and power. But many people also believe that, the American dream is over. There are many reasons to some individuals would believe that the American dream is over, and one of them is that people have the tendency to blame social problems as followed. Black people don’t have the same rights, as white people does, the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, etc.
