Characterization
Lagkagehuset is a production company, which creates high-quality bakery but still
functions as a sort of cafe where customers can enjoy Lagkagehusets quality bakery
products, such as cake and coffee.
The keyword of lagkagehuset must be differentiation, there competing with quality
and not price.
Lagkagehuset was created in 2008 where 2 bakeries merged, with the focus on
revolutionizing the normal bread. Lagkagehuset wanted to use their economies of
scale to make more profit, they did that by creating production bakeries near there
stores, which produces the products. The fact that the bakeries which produce their
products are close to the store makes it certain that the product is fresh and good
quality, and also lowers cost, which makes them profits more. Lagkagehuset is
currently growing, and will probably continue to because of the experience which
they create for the customer, there already opening shops in countries outside
Denmark, such as the US and UK.
