Barack Obama delivered the speech “Remarks by the President in Address to the Nation on Immigration” on November 20th 2014 in The White House, when he was president. In his speech, Obama presents the complications of the American immigration system. He starts by pointing out how the system is broken. For decades immigrants who want to embrace the responsibilities by living in America have seen remaining in the shadows as the only option if they do not want to risk their families being torn apart. After this the president proposes a solution, which mainly focuses on an embracement. He will help the undocumented immigrants, who want to participate in the community, while deporting criminal immigrants immediately. At the end Obama underlines the overall message; America is a nation build on immigration.
