Does anybody like being watched? I don’t think so, because it is like the community’s way of saying: “I don’t trust you” to everybody.
Of course there is advantages of surveillance, which of course I can come up with some examples of. You see theft, robbery, stabbing, shooting and murder can be detected by using cameras, and that is a good thing because then you can detect who did the crime.
I understand why we have surveillance cameras some places but not everywhere. We could save so many money on removing and selling some of the cameras, instead of buying new ones and installing them again.
There are for sure some bad things about surveillance. If the press gets some discriminating photos of a person getting violated or something they’d use it in the papers. It’s just disgusting that people are being watched because it is removing the freedom we are promised as human.
Every place has surveillance cameras everywhere today except your own home, where you’ve got the control of the cameras. But it’s only a matter of time I think, before you need to have cameras installed on the inside of your home. Imagine cameras watching you all night long, and when you are on the toilet doing your private thing
