Healthy living is feeling good about yourself both physical and mental. A major part of a “healthy” body is also mental, I think. Feeling good about what you do for a living, you shouldn’t really care that much for other people’s opinions, but everyone needs to be recognized some times. When I read articles about all the professors saying this and that, about how you should treat your body, I can understand if people get confused. Professors are saying that you for a minimum have to exercise one hour a day, but maybe you haven’t got the time. I don’t question the fact that exercise is healthy, but I question the lack of information about the subject.
When I am looking at overweight persons I think to myself “why not do something about it?” Because I would never be comfortable being 50 kg heavier than advised by doctors and professors, and not just because of that. My confidence and happy personality would disappear if I were uncomfortable with myself. On the other side, you could have a sickness that causes the overweight. Or maybe they don’t find it necessary to begin a weight loss; they are maybe comfortable with whoever they are and look like.
