”Invictus” is directed by Clint Eastwood, and is a movie about Nelson Mandela´s (Morgan Freeman) fight against apartheid in South Africa. Nelson Mandela is the new president of South Africa and he is very dissatisfied with apartheid in South Africa. He means that South Africa is “hungry for greatness”, and in hope of change, he puts his trust into the captain of the national rygby team, François Pienaar (Matt Damon) and the rest of the team. He believes that if François Pienaar and the rest of the guys win the rugby World Cup 1995, the country will feel greatness and become a better country without apartheid. Unfortunately the national rugby team is a bad team and the odds for medals in the rugby World Cup are minimal. While the major part of South Africa and almost every sports reporter have lost their faith in the rugby team, Mandela is faithful believes in the team. After lot of physical and mental training does the Rugby team stand up against apartheid and hopefully win the rugby World Cup. Through the preliminary rounds the rugby team of South Africa wins all their matches and the black and white people in South Africa starts to believe in victory and greatness. Will South Africa win the rugby World Cup and get rid of apartheid?
