The Shining Mountain is a fairytale about a girl called Pangma-La. Pangma-La's father has high expectations to his daughter. Pang-la-ma is called after a famous mountain and unfortunately, she was teased about it in school. She wouldn’t disappoint her father, so she lives up to her father’s expectations.
When Pang-ma-la became older her father teaches her mountaineering skills so they can climb the “The Shining Mountain” together. Finally, Pangma-la and her father travelled to climb the famous mountain. When they arrived to the mountain a Sherpa woman appears to help Pang-ma-la carry her massive sack. But Pang-ma-la rejected the Sherpa woman because she wouldn’t disappoint her father. The next day the Sherpa woman asked Pang-ma-la for permission to carry her sack but this time Pang-ma-la let the Sherpa woman carry the heavy things from Pangma-La's bag. She switched the heavy things with swans.
Then Pangma-La's father realized that his daughter had given her life away just to make him happy.
Human qualities that are the most important in a parent:
In my opinion there are many important things a parent can do to be a “good” parent. But one of the most important is to be a good “listener”. By myself I couldn’t imagine if my parents don’t listen to me. It’s a good human quality in a parent because when a parent don’t listen it can feels like that I haven’t any rights. I can’t even tell them if I accidently not fell well. Or if a have a problem my parents and I could had solved the problem together in agreement. How am I willing to solve a problem if my parents don't listen to what I have to say? However, it can feels so difficult to tell a parent something they didn’t even know, and they don’t want to know anything about if they don’t even listen.
